Headwall BVBA operates from its new facility in Belgium. The Company's products consist of spectral imaging systems for a wide range of applications, from airborne remote sensing to in-line high-speed inspection. Headwall produces both hyperspectral and Raman imagers, as well as the core optical technology within each system. Headwall’s hyperspectral sensors provide:

    Hyperspectral imaging for In-Line Inspection
    Headwall's hyperspectral sensors are perfect for in-line inspection of poultry, specialty crops, and other food products where safety and food quality are crucial. The sensors can identify the spectral characteristics of anomalies and foreign material with a very high degree of selectivity and precision. The instruments are also easily deployed within an entire machine-vision system wherever multi-point inspection is required.
    Airborne Remote Sensing
    Headwall's airborne solutions combine hyperspectral with GPS/IMU and LiDAR capabilities on a mission-appropriate UAV. Headwall's Micro-Hyperspec and Nano-Hyperspec sensors fit aboard payload-restricted UAVs, which can be fixed-wing or multi-rotor. Nano-Hyperspec is a VNIR (400-1000nm) sensor containing internal data storage and integrated GPS in a package that weighs less than 0.68kg while measuring 76.2mm x 76.2mm x 119.20mm (including the lens).
    Precision Agriculture
    Precision agriculture is a rapidly growing application area for hyperspectral imaging instruments. Mounted aboard either aircraft or hand-launched UAVs, these instruments provide a wealth of precise, high-resolution image data that exceeds that of traditional or even multi-spectral cameras. This image data can be analyzed to identify diseases, analyze chlorophyll and nutrient conditions, and seek new areas for planting. Headwall's sensors provide a very wide field of view and are aberration-corrected for outstanding image clarity and flight efficiency.
